  • This recipe did not work out well for me. I made the dough exactly as directed. It seemed gummy when I wrapped it. I left it in the fridge for 48 hours. I took it out, tried to roll it. It instantly adhered itself to my silicon rolling pin and mat. So I added another cup of flour, mixed it again. Didn't fix it. the dough is too gummy and sticky, totally unworkable. I'm starting over. new recipe...

    • @K ok I get u now but wat I meant by "ingredients" was that the egg they've used, does it contain manufactured "stuff" As is unnatural substances but I get your point now so thx alot

    • @K Takar I’m not sure what you mean by “other ingredients”. The difference between an egg white from an egg and an egg from a carton is the carton on is pasteurized so you can have it raw. Unpasteurized raw eggs have a risk of salmonella. This is why you might get sick if you use an egg white straight from an egg

    • @K how? I thought maybe it's more healthy since it doesn't have other ingredients like the other egg white

    • Probably yeah, but there’s more of a risk that you’ll get sick.

    • You can use any type of acid to substitute but I wouldn’t recommend completely getting rid of the acidic component. You can use lemon juice or vinegar

  • i haven't ever made homemade sugar cookies. and coz of covid-19 i can't get them where i usually do. So I have to make them myself. I get stressed when baking. Anyway, I tried to follow a recipe on the internet but got super upset about the butter and sugar mix and what it's supposed to look ike. so i found this video to help me. I'm a visual learner so this really helped.

  • I've made this twice. I'm telling you that tasting cookies ever. That cream cheese makes this cookie have a great flavor. The almond smells good and tastes good too. My kids are very happy with the beautiful cookies.

  • If you guys don't have pasteurized egg whites then while putting the 2 egg yolks into the batter, DON'T THROW OUT THE EGG WHITES!! You can use them for the icing!
